Associate Counsel / Full Time / NY
(Comp: $200,000 + $50,000 bonus)
Position:
Financial Technology Partners is seeking an Associate Counsel to join our small, high-leverage legal team. Reporting directly to the General Counsel, the Associate will touch nearly every part of the FT Partners legal platform--engagement letters for FinTech clients, employment matters, vendor and SaaS contracts, corporate policies, and the playbooks and AI tooling that scale our practice. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience in commercial contracts at a top law firm, and have a desire to broaden their legal skill
set to become a well-rounded in-house lawyer at a boutique investment bank
Essential Functions:
- Partner with the General Counsel across the full range of legal matters affecting FT Partners' business and operations
- Draft, review, negotiate, and revise investment banking engagement letters and related investment agreements
