Implementation Manager

The Implementation Manager is responsible for leading new client implementations of the Globalli platform from project kickoff through successful go-live. This role serves as the primary project manager and client point of contact, ensuring implementations are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with client expectations.

The Implementation Manager partners closely with clients and cross-functional teams including Product, Engineering, Payroll Operations, Benefits, Customer Success, and local payroll partners to coordinate all aspects of implementation. Success in this role requires exceptional project management, communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills, along with the ability to manage multiple complex implementations simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities

• Project Management
• Lead end-to-end implementation projects from kickoff through go-live.
• Develop and manage detailed implementation plans, timelines, milestones, and project deliverables.
• Monitor project progress, identify risks, and proactively drive issue resolution.
• Ensure projects remain on schedule while managing competing priorities.
• Client Relationship Management
• Serve as the primary point of contact throughout the implementation process.
• Build strong client relationships through proactive communication and regular status updates.
• Manage client expectations and ensure a positive onboarding experience.
• Facilitate implementation meetings and executive project reviews as needed.
• Cross-Functional Coordination
• Partner with Product, Engineering, Payroll Operations, Benefits, Customer Success, Compliance, and local payroll providers to ensure successful implementation.
• Coordinate internal resources and dependencies required to meet implementation timelines.
• Escalate project risks and blockers when necessary.
• Platform Configuration & Implementation
• Coordinate platform configuration based on client requirements.
• Support data collection, data validation, and system setup activities.
• Oversee testing activities, including payroll validation, user acceptance testing (UAT), and readiness for production.
• Ensure implementation deliverables meet Globalli quality standards.
• Training & Change Management
• Coordinate client training sessions and onboarding activities.
• Develop implementation documentation and client-facing resources.
• Support change management efforts to promote successful platform adoption.
• Implementation & Client Launch
• Coordinate all implementation activities required for a successful client launch.
• Ensure all implementation milestones, testing, and client deliverables are completed prior to production.
• Partner with internal teams and the client to validate implementation readiness.
• Support clients through launch activities and ensure a successful transition to ongoing support following implementation.
• Continuous Improvement
• Identify opportunities to improve implementation processes, documentation, and client experience.
• Share implementation best practices across teams.
• Contribute to the development of scalable implementation methodologies as Globalli grows.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of experience managing SaaS software implementations, customer onboarding, or technical project management.
• Experience working with enterprise software, HR technology, HCM, payroll, or workforce management platforms is strongly preferred.
• Proven ability to manage multiple client implementations simultaneously.
• Strong project management and organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively across technical and business teams.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Experience working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment is preferred.
• Multilingual - Portuguese, Spanish and English.  Must be fluent in all 3 languages.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with payroll, HRIS, HCM, or workforce management implementations.
• Familiarity with global payroll or multi-country workforce operations.
• Experience with project management tools such as Jira, Asana, Monday.com, or similar platforms.
• PMP, Scrum, or other project management certifications are a plus.
