About this role

IPX Power is seeking a corporate attorney to join our legal team and report directly to the General Counsel. This attorney will support enterprise level corporate matters, corporate governance, entity management, and other strategic corporate initiatives including mergers and acquisitions. The position offers significant exposure to senior leadership and the opportunity to assume increasing responsibility while working closely with and receiving guidance from the legal Team.

Team Overview

Our Legal Department is a small, high-impact team advancing IPX Power’s mission to accelerate the clean energy transition at scale. We partner closely with other commercial teams to find solutions that move the business forward. As IPX Power’s operating portfolio continues to grow, the legal team is expanding to support our corporate governance, compliance and other corporate functions - offering meaningful learning and career growth for new team members.

What you’ll do

• Support corporate M&A transactions, including due diligence, transaction documentation, closings, and post-closing matters.
• Assist with corporate governance matters, including preparation of board and shareholder consents, resolutions, minutes, and other governance documentation.
• Support the formation, maintenance, restructuring, and dissolution of subsidiaries and other legal entities.
• Draft, review, and negotiate corporate and commercial agreements.Coordinate with internal business teams and outside counsel on corporate transactions and strategic initiatives.

What you’ll bring

• J.D. from an accredited law school and active license to practice law.
• Approximately 4–7 years of relevant corporate legal experience.
• Meaningful experience supporting M&A transactions and corporate governance matters.
• Excellent drafting, analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Sound judgment, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple matters effectively.
• Experience managing paralegals and other reports is considered a plus.
