LT Consulting is seeking a Backend Web Developer with an active TS/SCI polygraph clearance to design and build secure, high-performance APIs and backend services supporting mission-focused applications. As a Backend Developer, you'll work across the full scope of backend services, developing scalable microservices, managing data persistence layers, and automating integration processes using cloud-native architectures.
Requirements:
- Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Demonstrated professional experience developing backend systems and APIs
- Proficiency with Java and Spring Boot, Node and Express, Python with Flask or Django, or similar backend stacks
- Experience designing and building RESTful APIs and integrating with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Oracle)
- Familiarity with authentication and authorization standards such as OAuth 2.0 and OpenID Connect
- Experience with build automation tools and dependency management (Gradle, Maven, NPM, or Pip)
- Proficiency with Git and modern version control workflows (branching, merging, pull requests)
- Experience working in Agile environments using JIRA and Confluence
- Preferred Requirements: Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Experience with AWS cloud services (EC2, RDS, S3, SQS, Lambda, etc.)
- Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Experience implementing observability and monitoring using Prometheus, Grafana, or the ELK stack
- Experience optimizing backend performance and implementing caching (Redis, Memcached)
