Position Overview

The Designer II position is a key role responsible for the design and production of construction plan sets. Establishes design criteria, performs necessary engineering calculations for design or complete systems with minimum supervision. Proficiently applies knowledge of design concepts, governmental and municipal regulations, hydrologic and hydraulic methodologies and modeling software, CAD tools, GIS applications, plan preparation, surveying principles, and construction techniques Serves as mentor to others in design development and

in preparing the technical portion of project specifications. Success is delivering high quality work with increasing independence and autonomy defined by reduced revisions from technical manager reviews. A pivotal team contributor to the overall project team goal of completing timely designs and submittal packages for project approvals.
