Composite Technician (Contract) at Re:Build Manufacturing | LAYIQ

Associate degree or equivalent technical training, with 1–2 years of hands-on composite fabrication experience in a production or aerospace environment
Strong understanding of composite layup techniques, adhesive bonding, and mechanical assembly processes
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, solid models, and work instructions, including familiarity with GD&T (ASME Y14.5)
Proficiency using precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and indicators
Experience with fabrication of tooling, molds, and fixtures using various materials (aluminum, composites, wood)
Working knowledge of metrology systems such as Romer Arm or other CMM tools
Capable of troubleshooting, reworking, and improving parts and assemblies to meet quality standards
Self-motivated and dependable, with the ability to multitask and adapt to changing project priorities
Strong collaboration and communication skills to work effectively across engineering, production, and quality teams
Eagerness to continue learning new skills in areas such as electrical systems, welding, additive manufacturing, and engineering testing
A continuous improvement mindset focused on safety, quality, and operational excellence
The hourly rate for this position is $27- $40. This range represents the Company’s good faith estimate of the base compensation for this role at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors, including but not limited to relevant experience, skills, qualifications, internal equity, and geographic location. In addition to hourly rate, this role may be eligible for annual incentive compensation and/or long-term incentives, subject to Company plans. The Company offers a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, retirement, paid time off, and other benefits
