Position Overview:
The Regional Center of the East Bay (RCEB) is seeking committed individuals to serve on its Board of Directors. Board service is an honorary, volunteer role providing governance and oversight to support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDDs) and their families in Alameda and Contra Costa Counties.
Reasonable accommodations are provided, especially to RCEB clients serving on the Board.
Time Commitment
: One (1) year term.
Approximately 3 – 5 hours per month, including:
- Monthly Board Meetings
- : Virtual public meetings 4th Monday each month (except July, August, & Dec), 7 – 9 p.m.
- Committee Service
- : Serve on at least one Board committee as chair/co-chair.
- Promote RCEB’s mission by bring a self-advocate, family or professional perspective to decision making.
