About the Role
The Logistics Specialist is responsible for the day-to-day execution of First and Middle Mile transportation operations. This role monitors freight movements, manages transportation exceptions, communicates with carriers and internal stakeholders, and ensures freight moves safely, efficiently, and on time.
As part of the Transportation Operations team, the Logistics Specialist serves as the first point of contact for transportation events and plays a critical role in maintaining service levels through proactive monitoring, timely communication, and effective problem solving.
