Job Overview
The Senior Test Engineer position includes designing, developing, integrating, and validating automated and manual test systems, as well as embedded diagnostic applications. The role also involves creating and updating test procedures, reports, and fixtures for systems and circuit card assemblies. Candidates should have strong electronics knowledge and software programming skills.
The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge surrounding designing and developing unit level and automated testing equipment on assemblies and sub-assemblies.
Essential Functions
Analyze embedded military systems to define and implement effective test methods.
Design and develop test environments, fixtures, and equipment.
Author and maintain detailed test procedures, reports, and documentation.
Plan, oversee, and execute qualification and production testing.
Provide Design for Testability input and support design reviews.
Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineering and provide necessary training.
Manage schedules, budgets, and status reporting for assigned tasks.
Specify and evaluate supplier components and test-related services.
Demonstrate strong troubleshooting, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
