About the role:

Prepare patients, medications, equipment, and treatment areas for sedation and general anesthesia.

Provide continuous multi-parameter monitoring and recognize and respond to changes in patient status and anesthetic emergencies.

Demonstrate strong knowledge of anesthetic and analgesic medications, including their effects and potential adverse reactions.

Safely operate, troubleshoot, and maintain anesthesia and monitoring equipment.

Maintain appropriate sterile technique and demonstrate knowledge of surgical procedures and instrumentation.

Provide attentive post-anesthetic monitoring and safely transition patients back to their admitting service.
