Position Summary
The Business Systems Manager is the functional owner of Forgen's enterprise business applications, beginning with CMiC and extending across the broader business application portfolio. The position serves as Forgen's subject matter expert for CMiC Financials, Project Management, and HR/Payroll, and works as an embedded partner to Forgen's operating groups — accountable to them for whether the systems make the work easier.
This position translates how estimating, project management, job costing, payroll, and field operations actually work into system configuration, reporting, workflow design, integration, testing, and user enablement. The title reflects ownership of an application portfolio, not supervision; this position has no direct reports. General end-user support, endpoint administration, and network and server administration are outside its scope, though CMiC functional escalation belongs to this role.
