As a Lincoln HVAC Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration (HVAC-R) systems and associated controls serving client facilities and campus buildings. You will help ensure occupant comfort, system reliability, energy efficiency, and compliance with applicable mechanical and safety codes.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC-R systems and equipment, including chillers, boilers, air handling units, rooftop units, condensers, compressors, pumps, and cooling towers.
Perform scheduled preventive maintenance, including filter changes, coil cleaning, belt and bearing inspection, refrigerant checks, and inspection of associated controls.
Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and controls malfunctions associated with HVAC equipment including motors, contactors, relays, transformers, VFDs, sensors, and control circuits.
Install, repair, and adjust pneumatic and electronic control systems, including thermostats, sensors, actuators, and dampers.
