About the Role:

The Senior Strategist develops strategic, insight-led solutions for My Code’s complex and high-investment pitches. You will bring together client objectives, audience insights, cultural intelligence, and My Code’s capabilities to create compelling proposals that help brands authentically connect with diverse audiences at scale.

Reporting to the SVP, Brand Solutions, you will partner closely with Sales and cross-functional teams across Studio, Product Marketing, Planning, and the Intelligence Center throughout the pitch process. You’ll bring a strong strategic perspective to the work, helping translate briefs into thoughtful, differentiated solutions grounded in client and audience needs.

This is a hybrid role, working three days per week (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday) onsite in our NYC office.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the strategic development of complex, high-investment RFPs and proactive opportunities, owning the solution from brief interpretation through final pitch.
• Translate client business objectives, audience intelligence, cultural insights, category dynamics, and market trends into clear strategic opportunities and compelling pitch narratives.
• Develop strategic and creative territories for pitches, translating insights into high-level concepts and ideas that can live across branded content, creators, social, experiential, editorial, and media.
• Architect integrated solutions across My Code's capabilities, identifying the right combination of media, branded content, creator, experiential, research, data, and cultural expertise to address client needs.
• Partner closely with Studio and Creative teams to evolve early-stage concepts into fully developed creative ideas and executions, ensuring a clear through-line from client challenge to insight, strategy, idea, and activation.
• Collaborate across Sales, Studio, Product Marketing, Planning, the Intelligence Center, Editorial, and other cross-functional teams to develop integrated, executable solutions.
• Serve as a strategic voice in client and agency presentations, clearly articulating the cultural insight, strategic rationale, creative idea, and value proposition behind My Code's recommendations.
• Develop category, audience, and cultural points of view that help Sales anticipate client needs, strengthen proactive conversations, and position My Code upstream of the brief.
• Review pitch wins, losses, and client feedback to identify actionable learnings that strengthen future proposals and Brand Solutions best practices.
• Contribute to the evolution of My Code's pitch frameworks, case studies, strategic tools, and go-to-market approach.

Qualifications:

• 6+ years of experience in brand strategy, creative strategy, integrated marketing, media, advertising or a related field, ideally within a publisher, media company, or creative agency.
• Demonstrated experience leading RFPs, proactive pitches, and strategic proposals for major brands and agencies.
• Strong ability to translate client needs, audience insights, cultural intelligence, market trends, and data into clear strategic recommendations and compelling narratives.
• The ability to develop ideas independently while collaborating with creative teams to further develop and bring those ideas to life.
• Experience developing integrated solutions across capabilities such as digital media, branded content, creators, social, experiential, editorial, research, and audience solutions.
• Strong understanding of the advertising and media landscape.
• Strong commercial instincts and an understanding of how strategy, creativity, media, and audience insights work together to drive revenue and client growth.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to confidently present strategic and creative recommendations to internal stakeholders, clients, and agencies.
• Ability to lead cross-functional work streams, navigate multiple priorities, and move complex pitches forward in a fast-paced environment.
• Deep curiosity and understanding about culture, communities, consumer behavior, and the forces shaping the next generation of growth audiences.
