Build Support Engineer - Mechanical

POSITION SUMMARY:

Alexander Dennis is seeking a Mechanical Build Support Engineer to join our Current Model Engineering team in Las Vegas. This is a highly hands-on engineering support role that spends approximately 70–75% of the time on the production floor working directly with manufacturing teams to troubleshoot and resolve vehicle build issues.

Acting as the key link between Engineering and Production, you will investigate mechanical concerns, perform root cause analysis, review engineering drawings and CAD models, and implement practical solutions that improve product quality, manufacturability, and production efficiency. Rather than creating new designs, you will work extensively with existing drawings, specifications, bills of material, and CAD models to identify issues, validate build requirements, and support production.
