Job Summary
Licensed Practical Nurse provides basic nursing care, including vital signs, medication administration, wound care, and assisting residents with daily activities, under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) support and comfort to residents and their families.
Essential Duties and Job Responsibilities
Basic Nursing Care:
Vital Signs: Accurately measure and record vital signs like temperature, pulse, blood pressure, and respirations.
Medication Administration: Administer medications as prescribed by a physician, following facility protocols and under the supervision of an RN.
Wound Care: Perform wound care, including changing dressings and monitoring for signs of infection.
