- Psychologist – Veteran Disability Evaluations (1099, Part-Time)
- • Location: Johnson City, TN or Chattanooga, TN (2 separate openings)
- • Schedule: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (2 days per week)
- • Compensation: $600–$750 per day
- • Employment Type: 1099 Contract
Exam Space Requirement: This position requires providers to have access to their own ADA-compliant exam room or office space. What You’ll Do:
- Conduct one-time psychological and behavioral health evaluations for Veterans as part of the disability claims process
- Perform clinical interviews, mental health assessments, and comprehensive record reviews
- Assess psychiatric and psychological conditions in support of Veteran disability evaluations
- Work in a low-volume setting, typically seeing 1–5 Veterans per day
- Complete documentation electronically through a secure platform
- Receive fully provided technology, training, and clinical support

- No ongoing therapy or counseling sessions
- No treatment planning or long-term patient management
- No prescribing responsibilities
- No disability rating calculations or benefits determinations
- No scheduling responsibilities or walk-in patients
- No nights, weekends, holidays, or on-call responsibilities
