Davis Machine is an AS9100-certified precision machining company serving the aerospace industry from a 75,000 sq ft campus in Euless, Texas. The business is built on two complementary lines of work: high-volume, low-mix production of stainless steel, Inconel, and other hard-material components, and low-volume, high-mix machining of complex aluminum and titanium structural parts.
Davis is affiliated with sister companies in surface finishing and engineering, giving customers a single group for machined, finished, and engineered components.
Position Summary
The Engineering Manager leads the engineering group responsible for process planning, fixturing, and CNC programming for every part manufactured at Davis, and is accountable for the group's output, standards, staffing, and customer-facing engineering commitments. The group is being rebuilt and expanded; the Engineering Manager will define its structure, its CAM standard (Mastercam for new work, with CATIA V5 retained for the qualified legacy library), and its process and tooling standards.
This is a build role with full ownership, reporting directly to the General Manager.
