The Surveyor is responsible for performing all surveying and geospatial activities required to support the construction and layout of utility-scale solar photovoltaic (PV) and battery energy storage system (BESS) projects. This role ensures accurate site measurements, layout verification, and as-built documentation to maintain precision throughout all phases of civil and electrical construction.
The Surveyor plays a critical role in translating design data into actionable field layouts that meet engineering specifications and project quality standards.
Essential Job Functions & Responsibilities:
Conduct site surveys, topographic mapping, and layout staking to support all phases of construction, including grading, foundations, roadwork, racking, and electrical infrastructure.
Interpret design drawings, site plans, and technical specifications to ensure accurate implementation in the field.
Establish and maintain control points, benchmarks, and reference systems for site construction and quality control.
