As a VDI Engineer supporting the Government, you will be trusted to engineer new and improved enhancements for existing and emerging virtual desktop technologies. In this role, a typical day will include:
- Engineering, designing, testing, implementing, maintaining, securing, and managing the full life cycle of the complex Citrix Xen Desktop and NetScaler solutions deployed in the large Enterprise environment
- Designing and supporting Microsoft infrastructure solutions, including Azure Virtual Desktop, on-prem, cloud and hybrid
- Interacting with Government stakeholders regarding technical considerations for problems, issues, or conflicts
- Engineering, implementing, mitigating, monitoring, and tuning VDI environment and management software to obtain Authorize to Operate (ATO) for new VDI solutions
- Managing Citrix products (Virtual Apps, Virtual Desktops, ADC, Provisioning)
- Managing Azure products (Azure Virtual Desktops)
