Armed Supervisor - Field Operations - Bay Area at Global Secure 3 | LAYIQ

Lead and supervise armed and unarmed security personnel across multiple Bay Area client sites.
Conduct routine credential checks (Guard Cards, Exposed Firearm Permits, and any applicable less-than-lethal certifications) to verify staff readiness and compliance.
Engage directly with client and store managers to assess security needs, gather feedback, and implement operational improvements.
Ensure all security posts are properly staffed and step in to cover posts during call-offs, shortages, or emergencies.
Respond promptly to security incidents and coordinate with law enforcement when required.
Manage scheduling, timekeeping, and workforce coverage using Rippling, ensuring shifts are properly assigned with adequate coverage.
Review and document all security incidents, ensuring reports meet GS3 and legal standards.
Conduct weekly and monthly performance reviews to assess team performance and identify training needs.
Implement and train officers on Striven software to enhance reporting accuracy and operational workflows.
Uphold strict confidentiality and client privacy expectations at all times.
Required Licensing & Certifications
Active California BSIS Security Guard Registration (Guard Card)
Active California BSIS Exposed Firearm Permit
Valid California driver’s license
Candidates are expected to obtain their CCW permit within their first 6 to 12 months as part of growing into the role.
Required Experience & Skills
Minimum of 3 years of experience in security supervision, guard operations, law enforcement, military, or comparable operational leadership roles.
Demonstrated track record supervising armed and/or unarmed guard personnel across multiple posts.
Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm and decisive under pressure.
Excellent communication skills, professionalism, and discretion.
Willingness to work flexible hours and participate in an on-call rotation.
Ability to support assignments across the greater Bay Area.
