Senior Equipment Engineer (Semiconductor) at Halo Industries, Inc. | LAYIQ

BS degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field with a hands-on focus upon equipment a plus
5+ years of experience in Equipment Maintenance and Repair or Equipment Engineering of relevant experience within a semiconductor fab or a similar high-tech environment
Understanding of failure mechanisms and ability to conduct root-cause analysis
Experience with hand and power tools
The willingness to work overtime as needed or required
Skills and Attributes: A willingness to learn and develop technical knowledge in wafer fabrication
Strong attention to detail, craftsmanship, and time management skills to prioritize multiple tasks
Problem-solving mindset and adaptability to changing priorities

Physical Requirements: Comfortable lifting 35 pounds and stand for extended periods (1-2 hours) as part of daily work

Proficiency in MS Windows software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google platform
Knowledge of control systems and/or PLC (Process Logic Control)
Mathematical proficiency, including adding, subtracting, calculating percentages, and understanding tolerances
Strong communication skills for writing clear documentation, providing feedback, and collaborating with diverse teams
Flexibility to work varying shifts and meet cleanroom requirements, including wearing PPE and adhering to cleanroom standards
