About the Role

Pulse Nursing Agency is currently recruiting experienced Phlebotomists and Healthcare Assistants to support an exciting national research initiative – the Our Future Health Project in Brighton.

This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a large-scale healthcare programme while working flexible shifts and earning competitive rates.

Pay Rates

Monday to Friday:

£18.00 per hour

Saturday:

£20.96 per hour

Sunday & Bank Holidays:

£25.78 per hour

Key Responsibilities

• As a Phlebotomist/HCA, you will: Carry out
• POCT testing
• , including cholesterol checks
• Record height, weight, waist measurements, blood pressure, and heart rate
• Perform venepuncture (2 samples per participant)
• , ensuring correct labelling and storage
• Accurately record patient data on the system
• Monitor participant wellbeing throughout appointments and escalate concerns appropriately

Requirements

• To be considered, you must have: A Phlebotomy Certificate
• Minimum 12 months’ experience in blood collection
• Experience taking patient observations (vital signs)
• Strong patient care and communication skills
• Right to Work in the UK
