About the Role
The Payroll Specialist is primarily responsible for the day-to-day operations for one of the assigned Payrolls using the company’s electronic payroll system including processing new hires, separations, and any payroll updates; processing any leave requests; and handling special projects for the Payroll Department.
What You'll Do
- Process new hires and input benefit enrollment data, salary increases, and separations.
- Prepare paychecks and direct deposit transactions for employees.
- Verify accuracy of Electronic Time Submission and paycheck calculation using UKG.
- Process employee wage garnishments including Internal Revenue Service levies, Child Support Orders, and Chapter 13 deductions.
