The Area Loss Prevention Manager is responsible for overseeing the loss prevention strategy for their assigned area/region. Ensuring safe and secure stores through the objective identification of loss and risk opportunities to reduce shrink and controllable losses. The Area Loss Prevention Manager plans and prioritizes to provide an optimal customer experience to their portfolio of stores.
Key Responsibilities
- Manages the daily operations area/region Loss Prevention Department. Creates all scheduling and monitors the performance of the Loss Prevention Techs.
- Develops and oversees the Loss Prevention team to ensure the safeguarding of company assets from losses due to theft or fraud.
- Oversees video surveillance program for the area/region.
- Develop and operate an internal LP audit program for their assigned area/region.
- Uses employee training and audits to prevent merchandise loss; investigates known losses and coordinates with police on theft prosecution.
