Saalex is seeking a Media Center (MC) Audiovisual Technician in Newport, RI to provide frontline customer service and technical support for multimedia presentation, collaboration, and video teleconferencing (VTC) environments. This position is responsible for the installation, operation, troubleshooting, maintenance, and support of audiovisual systems used in conference rooms, meeting facilities, and mission-critical collaboration spaces.
The technician also assists with the facilitation of video conferences and multimedia presentations while ensuring equipment reliability and a positive user experience.
Position Type: Full-Time
Salary: $50k-$60k annually (depending on experience)
Work Location: Onsite.
Essential Functions:
Install, configure, operate, maintain, and troubleshoot audiovisual and VTC systems.
