Saalex is seeking a Junior Mechanical Engineer in Ridgecrest/China Lake, CA to support engineering projects involving the design, development, testing, integration, and sustainment of mechanical systems and equipment. The selected candidate will work closely with engineers, technicians, and project teams to support the successful execution of technical programs.
Position Type: Full-Time
Salary: $88k-$115k annually (depending on experience)
Work Location: Onsite.
Essential Functions:
Assist with the design, analysis, and development of mechanical systems and components.
Support fabrication, installation, integration, and testing activities.
Create and maintain engineering drawings, models, specifications, and technical documentation.
Perform engineering calculations and analyses related to structural, thermal, or mechanical system performance.
