Next Generation Flight Management System (NGFMS) Systems Engineer – Commercial Avionics
Job Summary
The NGFMS Systems Engineer will support the development, integration, investigation, and certification of Next Generation Flight Management Systems (NGFMS) for commercial aircraft. This role requires a minimum of 5 years of Flight Management Systems experience, hands‑on work in integrated avionics lab environments, and strong familiarity with civil aviation standards and regulations. The engineer will play a key role in system issue investigation, validation of fixes, and ensuring compliance with commercial certification requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- FMS & NGFMS Development
- · Support requirements definition, analysis, and validation for Flight Management Systems, with NGFMS experience preferred
- · Contribute to development and enhancement of: o Lateral and vertical flight planning o Performance‑Based Navigation (RNAV, RNP) o Trajectory management and optimization functions
