Vision Point Systems, Inc. is recruiting for a Staff Accountant to work in our Fairfax, VA office (moving to Chantilly, VA in the fall). The ideal candidate will ensure financial accuracy, streamline project-based billing, and support project management teams. Duties will include, but won't be limited to the following:
- Monthly A/R: Process and post all monthly customer invoices and post cash receipts.
Accounts Payable: Review vendor invoices and provide the proper general ledger coding on all invoices, to include semi-monthly employee expense reimbursements. Understand the process flow of Purchase Orders (PO’s) and mods in Unanet. Process the bi-weekly check runs and cash disbursements.
Month-End Close: Execute month-end close processes, prepare and post journal entries, and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
