Blue Nile is seeking a Purchasing Specialist to support the Manufacturing Operations team in managing day-to-day inventory and resolving issues. Responsibilities also include purchasing and receiving stock, generating Purchase Orders (POs), monitoring inventory levels, ordering components in response to demand, and promptly investigating and resolving stock issues. In addition, Vendor Management is critical to ensuring timely stock replenishment.
Based on business needs, this role may supplement other manufacturing operations tasks, such as picking components and order fulfillment.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor inventory levels to set orders for replenishment in a timely manner.
- Verify deliveries, costs, and quantities of incoming orders.
