We are seeking a patient, attentive, and dependable helper to support a male client in his 70s who has dementia
. His wife, also in her 70s, needs additional help caring for him and ensuring his safety and daily routines are maintained.
The client experiences significant memory-related challenges and requires frequent reminders, supervision, and redirection throughout the day.
- Care Responsibilities
- Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs)
- Provide reminders to use the bathroom
- Monitor and redirect him when needed for home safety
- Ensure water is turned off to prevent overflowing
- Monitor meals and ensure food is properly prepared and safe to eat
- Provide reminders regarding appropriate clothing
- , especially before going outside
- Provide companionship and supervision
- Assist with occasional errands
- (no doctor's appointments required)
- Help care for the family dog, a very friendly Dalmatian
- Maintain a safe and structured environment
