The Associate Manager (Statutory reporting, Acquisitions & Tax) is responsible for ensuring global statutory compliance across multiple legal entities, managing the financial reporting and operational oversight of newly acquired businesses until full integration. The role also oversees direct and indirect tax accounting and compliance, transfer pricing governance, and works closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure consistent application of accounting policies, financial controls and reporting standards.
The role requires strong technical accounting expertise, project management capabilities and the ability to collaborate across global finance, legal, tax and operational teams.
Education
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
Post Graduate Degree/Diploma in Accounting
CA(SA), CPA or equivalent professional qualification preferred.
Strong statutory reporting experience across multiple jurisdictions.
Experience managing audits with external auditors.
Experience managing teams.
Experience integrating acquired businesses into corporate finance operations.
Strong understanding of IFRS and local statutory reporting requirements.
Strong understanding of US GAAP advantageous
Experience with corporate taxation.
ERP implementation or integration experience (NetSuite, Oracle, SAP, Workday, etc.) advantageous.
Experience within a multinational or high-growth organisation is advantageous.
Utilisation of AI tools for process efficiency and improvements.
