Senior Business Analyst
PLEASE NOTE: This position is located in Charlotte, NC and requires a hybrid schedule in our Charlotte office Tuesday–Thursday, with Monday and Friday remote.

The Opportunity
As a Senior Business Analyst, you’ll turn complex data into actionable insights that shape business strategy and drive measurable results. You’ll combine analytical rigor with business curiosity to identify opportunities, test hypotheses, and make recommendations that have a direct impact on revenue, profitability, and customer outcomes.
This is a hands-on role for someone who loves asking “why,” digging into the data to find the answer, and translating what they learn into practical strategies. You’ll have the opportunity to influence how we identify and engage customers, optimize lender partnerships, improve products, and grow the business.
How You’ll Make an Impact
Drive data-driven insights and recommendations that inform the strategy, optimization, budgeting, and P&L performance of your business vertical.
Monitor daily business performance, including lead volumes, revenue, margins, and other key metrics, and identify opportunities to improve results.
Analyze complex data sets to uncover patterns, trends, and opportunities that can improve revenue, customer outcomes, and product performance.
Develop and evaluate new strategies by combining internal analysis with competitor research and industry insights, then track initiatives and measure their financial impact.
Build analytical frameworks and models that help optimize company profitability and overall vertical performance.
Partner closely with Marketing, Sales, and Product teams to turn analysis into actionable strategies that grow the business.
Use LendingTree’s analytics tools to understand full-funnel performance and identify opportunities across the customer journey.
Who You’ll Work With You’ll work cross-functionally with teams across Marketing, Sales, Product, and other business partners to identify opportunities and turn insights into action. You’ll also work closely with business leaders and senior stakeholders, translating complex analysis into clear recommendations that support strategic and financial decisions.
This is a highly collaborative role with significant autonomy. You’ll be trusted to own analytical projects from initial question through execution, while keeping stakeholders informed and aligned along the way.
What You’ll Bring
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Statistics, Business, or a related quantitative field.
3+ years of experience in analytics, including using data to develop insights and drive business decisions.
Demonstrated experience managing analytics projects from initiation through execution, including prioritization, cross-functional collaboration, and delivery.
Strong proficiency in SQL, Python or R, Excel, Tableau or an equivalent data visualization tool, and Snowflake or similar data warehousing technologies.
Experience working with large-scale, complex consumer data sets and translating analysis into meaningful business recommendations.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to break down complex problems and develop practical solutions.
Experience communicating analytical findings and recommendations clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Experience in consumer financial services analytics, such as credit cards, personal loans, or small business loans, or a strong understanding of financial consumer products and market trends, is highly desirable.

The Details
Base Pay:
$105,000–$115,000
The base pay offered may vary based on internal factors, job-related knowledge, skills, location, and experience.
Incentive Compensation:
This position is eligible for an annual performance bonus.
