Liquid Personnel is seeking an experienced Social Worker to join its client’s Duty and Assessment team in Oldham. This role is ideal for practitioners who thrive in a fast-paced environment and are committed to keeping children and young people safe through timely interventions and robust assessments.
What will your responsibilities be?
Conduct strategy meetings and Section 47 (S47) investigations to ensure children are protected from harm.
Formulate and execute Child in Need (CIN) plans and conduct regular CIN reviews.
Manage a caseload of referrals to determine the necessary level of intervention within the continuum of need.
Step up and progress cases to Initial Child Protection Case Conferences (ICPCC), Public Law Outline (PLO), and Court proceedings as required.
Prepare and participate in planned court work effectively and within appropriate timescales.
Ensure the needs and wishes of children are central to the assessment and planning process.
Work in partnership with other professionals and agencies to provide a coordinated social work response.
