Kinship Care Assessor – Fostering Service

Liquid Personnel is looking for a highly skilled and independent Kinship Care Assessor to join its client's Fostering Service in Rotherham. This role focuses on the robust assessment of kinship and mainstream foster carers, ensuring that children are placed in safe, nurturing environments that support their long-term well-being.

What will your responsibilities be?

Comprehensive Assessments: Complete fostering assessments of kinship or mainstream carers (both within and outside the local authority) using Form K, Form C, or Form F.

Statutory Compliance: Undertake all statutory-related checks, including references and safeguarding verifications, to ensure carers meet national standards.

Direct Work: Conduct weekly planned and unplanned home visits and facilitate placement planning meetings to support the assessment and care planning process.

Panel Presentation: Prepare and present completed assessments to the Fostering Panel for formal consideration and approval.

Independent Management: Manage your own work commitments and deadlines independently while maintaining accurate, up-to-date records on the service database.

Meeting Facilitation: Attend and contribute to case-specific meetings, working collaboratively with managers and partner agencies.
