Occupational Therapist

Liquid Personnel is recruiting for an experienced Specialist Housing Occupational Therapist to join Liverpool Adult Social Care on a fantastic hybrid opportunity.

This is an excellent role for an OT with experience in housing adaptations, manual handling, and community-based assessments who is passionate about promoting independence and improving quality of life.

What will your responsibilities be?

You'll work with adults, families, and carers to complete strength-based assessments under the Care Act 2014, helping people remain safe and independent in their own homes. Responsibilities include:

• Completing community-based Occupational Therapy assessments
• Assessing for specialist equipment, minor and major adaptations
• Carrying out manual handling assessments and providing recommendations
• Supporting hospital admission avoidance and promoting independent living
• Managing a varied caseload while maintaining accurate electronic records
• Working closely with health professionals, housing teams, and partner agencies
• Supervising Occupational Therapy Assistants and supporting students where required
