Occupational Therapist

Liquid Personnel is recruiting Occupational Therapist for its client's Local Authority Team at Swindon.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a Local Authority setting, supporting adults to maximise their independence, safety and quality of life through high-quality Occupational Therapy assessments and interventions.

What will your responsibilities be?

• Complete comprehensive Occupational Therapy and functional assessments for adults in the community
• Assess individuals' ability to complete activities of daily living and identify risks and barriers to independence
• Recommend and prescribe appropriate equipment, minor adaptations and assistive technology
• Complete moving and handling assessments and provide recommendations to promote safe transfers and mobility
• Work collaboratively with service users, carers, Social Workers, care providers and wider multidisciplinary teams
• Contribute to care and support planning, risk management and discharge planning where required
• Manage a varied caseload effectively while maintaining accurate and timely records
• Apply person-centred, strengths-based practice to promote independence and enable people to remain safely within their own homes
