Senior Social Worker - Fostering Recruitment & Assessment

Liquid Personnel is recruiting an experienced Senior Social Worker to join its client's Fostering Recruitment & Assessment Team at Stockton-on-Tees. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a specialist fostering service focused on recruiting, assessing, and supporting foster carers to provide safe and stable homes for children and young people.

As a Senior Social Worker, you will play a key role in undertaking fostering assessments, with a particular focus on kinship foster carers, special guardianship assessments, and the development of robust support plans. You will work closely with children, families, carers, and partner agencies to deliver high-quality assessments and positive outcomes for children.

What will your responsibilities be?

Undertake comprehensive fostering assessments, including kinship foster carer assessments.

Complete Special Guardianship Order (SGO) assessments and associated reports.

Develop robust and effective support plans tailored to the needs of children and carers.

Prepare high-quality assessments and reports for fostering panels and court proceedings where required.

Work collaboratively with foster carers, family members, and partner agencies.
