Liquid Personnel is recruiting an experienced Social Worker to join our client’s Child Protection West Team in Coventry.
This role is ideal for practitioners with a strong background in frontline child protection and a commitment to achieving the best outcomes for children and families through robust assessment and intervention.
What will your responsibilities be?
Child Protection: Lead and complete Section 47 child protection enquiries to safeguard children from significant harm.
Assessment: Undertake comprehensive Child and Family Assessments to identify needs and determine appropriate levels of support.
Caseload Management: Manage and support caseloads for Children in Need (CIN), children subject to Child Protection Plans (CPP), and Looked After Children (LAC).
Legal Proceedings: Support families through the Public Law Outline (PLO) process and initiate court proceedings when required to ensure child safety.
Direct Work: Carry out direct work with children and families to ensure timely and appropriate interventions.
Collaboration: Work effectively with partner agencies to deliver a professional social work response and maintain high practice standards.
