Social Worker - Children in Our Care Team

As a Social Worker within the Children in Our Care Team, you will play a vital role in supporting looked-after children and young people. Responsibilities will include care planning, permanency planning, and ensuring that children's voices remain central to all decision-making. The successful candidate will benefit from regular supervision, a collaborative team environment, and flexible working arrangements.

What will your responsibilities be?

Deliver a high-quality statutory social work service to children in care, in line with current legislation and Gateshead Council policies and procedures.

Build meaningful relationships with children and young people, ensuring their needs, wishes, and feelings inform all aspects of care planning.
