Social Worker - Duty & Assessment

Liquid Personnel is recruiting Social Worker for its client's Duty & Assessment Team at Rochdale.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive and dynamic team at the front door of Children's Services, where you'll play a key role in safeguarding children and supporting families at the point they need it most.

What will your responsibilities be?

Undertake Child and Family Assessments.

Complete Section 17 and Section 47 enquiries.

Manage a varied caseload of children and families.

Work closely with partner agencies to ensure effective safeguarding interventions.

Attend strategy meetings, child protection conferences and legal proceedings where required.

Produce clear, analytical and child-focused assessments and reports.
