Social Worker - Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub

Liquid Personnel is seeking an experienced and decisive Social Worker to join the Solihull MASH team. This is a fast-paced role at the "front door" of Children’s Services, requiring a practitioner who can navigate complex information and apply thresholds accurately to ensure families receive the right intervention at the right time.

What will your responsibilities be?

Referral Screening: Review and screen incoming referrals to identify safeguarding concerns and determine the appropriate level of support or intervention.

Decision Making: Operate within a high-pressure environment to make timely, evidence-based decisions in line with MASH statutory timescales.

Threshold Application: Apply an expert understanding of safeguarding thresholds to ensure proportionate responses to risk.

Multi-Agency Collaboration: Attend and contribute to strategy discussions, presenting clear information to partners to aid in collective decision-making.

Team Support: Work collaboratively with colleagues and partners to ensure a seamless delivery of service and support during peak demand.

Communication: Maintain a high standard of written and verbal communication, ensuring all rationale for decisions is clearly documented.
