This is not a traditional SEO role.
It’s an opportunity to build Mentimeter’s discoverability capability for the AI era.
Your mission
Make Mentimeter the obvious answer wherever people search, ask and learn.
You’ll own discoverability across traditional search, AI search and emerging discovery channels.
Success won’t be measured by rankings or traffic.
It will be measured by qualified acquisition, activation and business impact.
What you’ll do
Build world-class SEO foundations
Build and continuously improve Mentimeter’s technical SEO, content strategy, search intent, information architecture, international SEO, structured data, Core Web Vitals and user experience.
Own search & discoverability
Own Mentimeter’s discoverability strategy across: Organic Search
Paid Search
AI Search & LLM visibility
Google AI Overviews
YouTube
Reddit
Review sites
Communities
Emerging discovery channels
Treat search as one integrated ecosystem rather than separate channels.
Build the Discoverability Operating System
This is a builder role.
Design and build the AI-native operating system that powers discoverability at Mentimeter.

Discover customer questions

Build AI-native workflows
Design agentic workflows by connecting AI models, APIs, MCPs, analytics platforms, CMS workflows and internal data.

Continuously evolve how Mentimeter approaches discoverability.
Enable the organization
Build systems, workflows and guidance that enable Product Marketing, Brand, Customer Marketing, Customer Success, Enterprise Marketing and Product teams to create better, more discoverable content.
Who you are
You’re deeply experienced in SEO fundamentals but excited about where search is heading.
You understand that AI doesn’t replace SEO. It amplifies it.
You’re a builder who enjoys creating systems, not just executing tasks.
You think from first principles, move comfortably between strategy and execution, and naturally experiment with new AI tools and workflows.
Qualifications
What you’ll need
8+ years of SEO experience, preferably in-house.
Deep expertise in technical SEO, content strategy and search intent.
Experience growing large, international websites.
Experience with localization at scale.
Working knowledge of Google Ads and paid search.
Experience with AI search and LLM visibility.
Hands-on experience building AI workflows, automations or agentic systems.
Super user of modern AI tools such as Claude, ChatGPT and Gemini.
Strong understanding of APIs and MCPs.
Strong commercial mindset with experience using experimentation and analytics to drive business outcomes.
Exceptional writing and communication skills.
Experience collaborating closely with engineering teams.
Nice to have
Experience from a product-led SaaS company.
Experience managing SEO or SEM agencies.
Active contributor to the SEO or AI community through writing, speaking or community engagement.
Familiarity with Python, JavaScript or SQL.
Success in this role
After your first year:
Organic registrations have grown significantly.
Organic contributes substantially more ARR.
AI search has become a meaningful acquisition channel.
Mentimeter’s visibility across ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude and Perplexity has increased significantly.
Share of Voice has increased across our highest-value topics, entities and use cases.
Mentimeter consistently appears for the most important searches across both Google and AI search.
Technical SEO, Core Web Vitals and site performance have improved significantly.
Content production has become dramatically faster through AI-native workflows.
Time from idea to published, localized content has been significantly reduced.
Paid and organic search operate as one integrated discoverability system.
Discoverability has become a strategic growth capability that drives measurable business impact.

This is a hybrid role at Mentimeter HQ in Stockholm

Compensation:
At Mentimeter, we believe in fair and transparent compensation that grows with you.
The full salary range for this role is
SEK 60,000–SEK 86,000 per month. It’s intentionally broad to reflect the different stages of growth within the role: from early development to deep expertise and meaningful impact. Where an individual is placed within the range depends on factors such as relevant experience, demonstrated skills, and alignment with the role’s requirements.
We’re committed to supporting your growth. You’ll have ongoing development conversations with your manager, and your salary will evolve as you build skills and contribute to our mission.
