Assembly/Machine Building Technician-1st Shift Position with Excellent Benefits Package/Competitive Compensation and more!
The Assembly/Machine Building Technician will be responsible for building custom, made-to-order machines per drawing specifications.
Must possess a strong mechanical aptitude with experience in building or mechanical repair of industrial/heavy equipment.
Be able to work from prints, sketches, or verbal instructions.
A strong attention to detail is required.
To be safe in all operations of the job. To keep the work area clean and organized.
This is a low-volume work environment where you will build a machine from start to finish.
Requirements
- · Must have a High School Degree
- · 1+ years of experience working in a manufacturing environment or mechanical work experience.
- · High mechanical aptitude.
- · Any experience working on machines, cars or any type of mechanic background is a plus.
- · Ability to read blueprints.
- · An understanding of hydraulic components and functionality.
- · A basic understanding of 12V wiring.
- · Ability to use wrenches, air tools, overhead cranes, steel handling and frequent lifting required.
- · Forklift experience or ability to train on operation of.
