Summary: Pearce Services is seeking a dedicated Design Quality Engineer to join our team. This role involves ensuring the accuracy and compliance of telecom design prints, collaborating with stakeholders to meet design objectives, and maintaining high-quality standards in project execution.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct quality checks on design prints from every aspect.
- Evaluate the technical feasibility, cost-effectiveness, and performance of proposed designs.
- Ensure compliance with client general and regional standards, regulations, and best practices in telecom design.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define design objectives and specifications.
- Provide feedback to designers on errors and areas for improvement.
- Support management in plans to improve the quality of design output.
- Organize and maintain data of files that have been through quality checks.
- Ensure compliance with Pearce Database for project milestone dates.
- Required Skills and Abilities: Expertise in handling job types such as ASE, F1, FTTP, and IFP, adhering to client standards.
- Experience with ARAMIS-DT for project management and quality assurance.
- Familiarity with portals including APEX, IMAGINE, MIC, XNG, NOVA, AOTX, USH, LFACS, and CEOOT.
- Understanding of the Outside Plant telecom industry, public right-of-way, private easements, and utilities.
- Experience in FTTX (G-PON) designing and knowledge of copper networks and terminology.
- Understanding of permit and jurisdiction requirements.
- Strong analytical skills for data-driven decision-making.
