Full Time, Monday – Friday We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Band 6 Acute Medical Physiotherapist to join a busy and supportive acute hospital team in Leicester. This locum opportunity offers an immediate start and an ongoing contract, providing the chance to work within a fast-paced acute medical setting, supporting patients with complex needs and helping to facilitate safe and effective discharge planning.
What will your responsibilities be:
As a Band 6 Acute Medical Physiotherapist, you will be responsible for assessing, treating, and managing patients across acute medical wards. You will deliver evidence-based physiotherapy interventions aimed at improving mobility, respiratory function, and overall independence. You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams, including doctors, nurses, occupational therapists, and discharge coordinators, to ensure patients receive coordinated and patient-centred care.
