Job Overview

Pulse is currently seeking an experienced Band 6 Aseptic Pharmacy Technician to join a Pharmacy Technical Services team in East London. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work within a specialist aseptic unit, supporting the preparation and release of critical medicines. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the safe and efficient provision of aseptic services, working closely with pharmacists and the wider multidisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities

Support the preparation and release of aseptic products within the technical services department.
Assist with the production and checking of chemotherapy, parenteral nutrition (PN), and CIVAS where required.
Ensure compliance with aseptic protocols, SOPs, and regulatory standards.
Maintain accurate documentation and quality assurance processes.
Work collaboratively with pharmacy and clinical teams to support patient care.

Qualifications and Experience

Registered Pharmacy Technician with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
Experience working at Band 6 level or equivalent.
Previous aseptic services experience is essential.
Experience in releasing chemotherapy, PN, and CIVAS (desirable).
