THE OPPORTUNITY
This is a rare contract role running global marketing for a business scaling across global markets, based out of New Zealand at the exact moment we are building the brand architecture for multiple products under one roof.
You will step into a function that is mid-flight. Our FY27 marketing plan is underway, and we are actively shaping the brand direction for Re-Leased, our AI product Credia, our new platform am:pm. You will not be starting from zero. You will inherit a strategy and a team, and your job is to keep it moving, sharpen it where it needs sharpening, and hand it back in even better shape than you found it.
You will report directly to our President, sit close to the executive table, and be the trusted set of hands that continues to execute and shape how our brands show up in market and set up our plans for FY28.
This is a 9 month fixed-term parental leave cover position.

What
you’ll be owning
Overseeing execution of Re-Leased’s FY27 marketing plan: keeping every workstream on budget and on target, and making strategic adjustments as the business needs them.
Leading the planning process for FY28: budget forecasting, priority setting, and resourcing across the full marketing function.
Brand architecture, naming, and direction across Re-Leased, Credia, am:pm, and any future sub-brands, keeping each brand distinct and coherent as the portfolio grows.
Inclusive leadership of a marketing team of nine, spanning brand, content, product marketing, demand generation, lifecycle, events, and creative.
Oversight of event marketing, demand generation, sales alignment, marketing operations, and reporting across the function.
Championing AI-powered ways of working across the team, building on the systems and processes already in motion.
Reporting directly to the President and representing marketing in company-wide strategy and decision-making.
Inheriting an established strategy, then executing, expanding, and handing it all back stronger.
What you will bring
Proven experience leading a marketing function at Head of or Director level, ideally within B2B SaaS or technology.
A track record of owning annual planning cycles: budget forecasting, priority setting, and resource allocation across a multi-function team.
Experience building or stewarding brand architecture across multiple products or sub-brands, with clear naming and positioning discipline.
A confident, inclusive people leader, comfortable managing specialists across brand, content, product marketing, demand generation, lifecycle, and creative.
Comfortable operating at executive level, reporting directly to a President or equivalent, and be able to run on your own independently.
Someone who treats AI as an operating lever for the team, not a feature to bolt on, and brings that thinking to how marketing works day to day.
Able to step into an existing strategy and team with minimal ramp time, protect momentum, and leave things better than you found them.
