We are seeking a Data Science Consultant to support our Army Client. This is a hybrid position and the candidate will be required to work from the client location in Crystal City, Arlington VA at least 2 days a week.
Design new solutions using Databricks (SQL, Python, Pyspark) and Palantir Foundry to deliver capabilities meeting business functional requirements.
Design modifications to existing data model solutions as needed.
Define test cases and verify test results to ensure solutions are functioning as designed.
Build data models and reports using datasets from ERPs and legacy systems.
Coordinate with stakeholders and users to determine reporting requirements and convert business requirements into technical specifications.
Required Skills & Experience
2+ years hands on development experience
Proficiency in SQL, Python and Pyspark.
Experience working in data engineering, data science and data analytics. Note that this is not a Cloud Full Stack developer role.
