Registered Veterinary Technician***$1,000 sign on bonus at Veterinary Practice Partners | LAYIQ

Hours:

38–40 hours per week

Availability needed:

Monday–Thursday 7am–8:30pm, Friday 7am–6:30pm, Saturday 7am–4:30pm

Must be available for at least 2 closing shifts per week and every other Saturday

What You'll Do

You'll play a hands-on role in delivering the comprehensive, high-quality care our clients and patients count on:
Support veterinarians through exams, surgeries, anesthesia administration, and patient recovery
Handle and restrain animals safely and compassionately
Communicate clearly with pet owners — from explaining care instructions to providing reassuring updates
Perform technical procedures including lab work, radiographs, IV catheter placement, and injections
Maintain accurate medical records and assist with medication dispensing
Keep exam rooms, treatment areas, and equipment clean, stocked, and ready
Uphold hospital, DEA, OSHA, and safety guidelines at all times

What You Bring

Active
Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) certification
Confidence and compassion in animal handling and restraint
Working knowledge of common disease states and the ability to flag changes in patient condition
Familiarity with DEA, OSHA, and hospital safety protocols
