Position Overview
The Advanced Practice Provider – Hospitalist (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) works collaboratively with a supervising physician to provide comprehensive inpatient care for oncology patients. This role involves daily hospital rounding on new consults and existing patients, developing and implementing care plans, coordinating transitions between inpatient and outpatient settings, and ensuring high-quality patient outcomes in accordance with protocols and state regulations.
